PVPCOA in collaboration with IIA, Pune, successfully conducted the Architectural Quotient (AQ) 2016 on Wednesday, 20th July 2016 at S.M. Joshi Auditorium, Pune.
This year the number of participating colleges increased to a total of 15 and BKPS college bagged the largest number of participating team (14, excluding host college teams).
A total number of 103 teams participated for the event out of which 6 teams viz. one team each from Allana College, SCOA, Bricks, Ayojan and two teams from PVPCOA, reached the final round.
The team from Allana College represented by Kedar Sharma and Indrajeet Ghule won the first prize whereas team from SCOA represented by Sachet Shetty and Lokesh Kadam stood second while Manas Kulkarni and Shubham Kotawdekar from PVPCOA were at the third place.
Team from Ayojan represented by Shraddha Phalke and Khitij Nigadikar, Bricks College represented by Chaitaly Deshpande and Vipin Gurnani and PVPCOA represented by Himmat Prajapati and Aniket Salinkhe stood at 4th, 5th and 6th position respectively.
The double tie-breaker between SCOA and PVPCOA(Manas & Shubham) was jaw biting moment of the event.
The Quiz was conducted by Ar. Prof, Prasanna Desai and backed up by research team Ar. Niranjan Garde, Ar. Arthi Chandrashekhar and headed by Ar. Minal Sagare. The PVPCOA AQ team with student volunteers, headed by Suresh Batra and supervised by Ar. Devendra Deshpande, along with PVPCOA Admin staff under the guidance of VIT's Secretary Shri Jitendra Pitaliya, was behind the successful organisation of the event.
