Visit & Interaction : Neel & Supriti, Ovoid Atelier, Pondicherry - 25/01/2017

On Wednesday, 25th January 2017, Neel and Supriti from OVOID ATELIER, from Pondicherry, visited our college. they had a brief walk through the college and had an interesting session with the Third Year students before interacting with all the students.

Supriti Mittal and Neelratn having graduated from 'School of Planning & Architecture' at Delhi in 1999 and 1997, respectively; and have worked at different times with Ar. Helmut Schmidt at Auroville and Ar. Dean D'Cruz at Goa.

Since 2002, under the OVOID banner they run along with other partners OVOID ATELIER as the Design Company and OVOID CRAFTS a wood and metal R & D facility. In 2015, they have added OVOID SERVICE a Project Management Company.

Ovoid is shedding it's teenage like shyness of growing up years, shares for the first time outside of Pondicherry its body of works and growth in anticipation of an exchange on a wider platform and on more potent issues of design understanding / process / delivery, than a mere celebration of its works.

As they say, 2:1 is an inward journey. 1:1000 is an expansive outward flight. The Joy lies somewhere in between.
