SIte Visit : BTM II visit to Kirti Castle, Lohagao - 30/06/2011

Students of II Year B. Arch. were taken to Kirti Castle at Lohagao to study Load Bearing Structures. Students got a chance to interact with Ar.Girish Doshi and know more about the construction of the building. Masons working on the site also told them about instruments and the way those instruments are used to construct the building.

Site Visit : BTM IV visit to Mahindra, near Pirangut - 27/06/2011

As a part of Advanced Building Technology and Materials, in IV Year B. Arch., students were to study long span structures. To understand the construction of long span structure used in Industrial Buildings and Structural Steel, visit to Industrial Shed of Mahindra, near Pirangut was organised.

Site Visit : AD II visit to a sites in Rakshak Society and Sindh Society, Pune - 25/06/2011

II Year B. Arch Students visited the sites in Rakshak Society and Sindh Society for their Bungalow Design Project. They saw and analysed the site for the project. Students also got a chance to have conversation with owners of sites to come up with a Design Program.

Interactive Session : Ar. P.K. Das, Mumbai - 24/06/2011

Ar. P. K. Das visited the college exhibition and was introduced to various work done by the students.He also saw the work done by III Year B. Arch. students in their Architectural design Studio and interacted with them on various related issues.

Housing Studio : Ar. Prof. Pattabi Raman, South Africa - 23/06/2011 & 24/06/2011

Ar. Prof. Pattabi Raman held a workshop for the IV Year Students as a part of Housing Studio. It helped the students to kick start their designs.

Goal Gappe : Ar. Aditya Barve, Ar. Vedang Bagwe, Ar. Neha Ghugri, Ar. Rakshada Rode, Ar. Reshma Netke - 14/06/2011

A new series named 'Goal Gappe' was started in the academic session 2011-12. In this Students were to have informal interactions with the guests. This interaction with these five architects who were either pursuing their masters or are admitted in masters course is first of these sessions. In this sessions guests shared their experiences. They also told the students how they have decided the field in which they should pursue their further studies.
