Orientation week activity 2. Students were taken for a scenic walk to Dive ghat. Guided by Kiran Purandare and his team, the students went on to spot many different species of birds, insects and plants. We were lucky enough to witness weaver birds building their intricate nests! Kiran Kaka (Kika)also did uncanny imitations of various birdcalls and we looked on mesmerized as the birds returned the calls! The walk ended with a visit to @Sonorifort which is magnificent in its isolation. Despite it being a tiring 12km walk, the students were excited and energetic until the end. Standby for Orientation event no. 3!
