Visit & Interaction : Ar. K. T. Ravindran, New Delhi - 07/01/2017

It was a great honour when, Ar. K. T. Ravindran visited our college on Saturday, 7th January 2017. He was invited for having a review of the Fourth Year Urban Design work executed under Pune Bienalle 2017. Later he inaugurated the exhibition of the same work, named "Kaleidoscope", put up at Jawaharla Nehru Cutural Center, Pune.

Ar. K. T. Ravindran is a professor and Head of the Urban Design at the School of Architecture and Planning, New Delhi. His works are majorly related to development of cities and more specifically on inclusion and conservation of heritage buildings in modern spaces. He is founder of Institute of Urban Planners and deal with subjects like "Urban Morphology" and "Humanizing Cities".A frequent speaker at many national and international conferences, KT Ravindran is also significantly involved in the public decision-making sphere, as he was the Vice Chairman of the Environmental Impact Assessment Committee of the Government of India – where he oversaw the scrutiny of the environmental sustainability of national-scale architectural projects – and an advisor to the Secretary of the United Nations on their projects in New York City.
