As a part of Professional Practice in Fourth Year B.Arch., Ar. Prof. Madhav Deobhakta was invited to PVPCOA to give lecture on Professional Practice on Wednesday, 14th September 2016.
Ar. Prof. Madhav Deobhakta is an architect and educationist. His involvement in architectural education and practice dates back to 1957 first as a member of faculty of Sir J. J. College of architecture and academy of architecture, Mumbai, and as a partner of M/s Sane and Paymaster, Architects.
His deep concern for the improvement of the professional standards is seen in his long association with organisations like IIA, AIBoSA, Urban Heritage Committee, Mumbai, ICTA.
Widely travelled, he has made slide presentations relating to urban design, Ekistics and Contemporary Indian Architecture all over India and abroad. He has contributed articles to IIA journal, Journal Ekistics, Indian architect and Builder, TOI, and Vishwa kosha.
He has worked with Voluntary organizations designing community facilities and providing access to disabled. He brings his vast experience and thought provoking ideas on professional issues to PVP COA.
