As a part of Relative Study Programme (RSP) students of all the years are taken to different cities in India to explore and understand them with proper methodology.
This year II year students were taken to ODISHA (ORISSA) -
Aims & Objectives :
1. To study a settlement and to understand different context, climate and geographical nature of the region to be then able to design a building in the same area.
2. to study the traditional and historical architecture of the region and understand its unique characteristics.
3. To study the lifestyle, culture, food, art forms, occupations/sources of income of the local people.
4. To study building materials used over a period of time and study in detail the construction techniques that have evolved.
5. To study the architectural detailing and aesthetics, proportions and scale of different types of buildings.
