Relative Study Programme - IInd B.Arch - Himachal Pradesh, 9/11/2010

IInd yr B. Arch went for a Relative Study Programme to Himachal Pradesh. They got to see the temple architecture, local and contemporary architecture. It helped them develop an understanding of the architecture of that region with reference to its context, which further helped them to increase their understanding of architectural projects.

Fresher's Welcome - 15-10-10










Visit by Ar. Mohammed Shaheer, New Delhi - 06-10-10

Ar. Mohammad Shaheer, New Delhi visited the college and went through the designs of the Ist yr B.Arch students. This was followed by an intense interactive session with them regarding the ‘Tangram furniture’ design project. His inputs on the project and the learning process in architecture were extremely valuable for students as well as faculty. 













Workshop on Sketching by Vigyano Scholma, Germany - 06-09-10

Vigyano Scholma, a sculptor from Germany visited the school and conducted a workshop on sketching for the Ist yr B.Arch students. He started with some warm up exercises to free the mind and the hand for better sketching. The students then sketched the models posing for them. The exercise helped them understand the basics of human proportions and also developed their sketching skills.













III rd yr Design Jury - Ar. Snehanshu Mukherji, New Delhi and Ar. Madhav Joshi, Pune - 02-09-10


A jury was arranged for the students of III B.Arch for Residential School design project. Eminent architects Ar. Snehanshu Mukherji, New Delhi and Ar. Madhav Joshi, Pune were the jury members. The students got extremely valuable inputs from both the jury members, which helped them in mid course correction and fine tuning of their designs.
