VIT's PVP College of Architecture, Pune hosted the Indian Domestic Competition to select two students representing India at the Asian Contest for Architectural Rookie’s Award (ACARA) to be held in Tokyo, Japan in November 2019.
This competition was held in PVPCoA on 3rd August from 9 am to 6 pm. Students from various colleges across india presented their 2nd/3rd Year B. Arch Architectural Design work of academic session 2018-19 , on the theme of “SYMBIOSIS OF MAN AND NATURE”,43 Participants from 5 states of India had registered for this contest, out of which 35 participants reported & presented their work. Ar Prof Prasanna Desai , Director of PVPCOA, the convener of this event conducted the proceedings.

While appreciating the efforts taken by all the presenters of the day as well as the host institute, they gave their valuable feedback on the competition entries outlining the importance of the context, culture of the place & the users.
Gold winners of Indian Domestic Contest are presented with Rs 10,000/- prize each while Silver Winners received a prize of Rs 5000 /- each along with trophies and certificates.
