Architects do not usually share the required details with each other. There is no common library for all the architects to access files, although the information can be obtained if the architects are contacted directly. The study of water management in marshy lands is essential.
The study of the relation of floating settlements with respect to the main land along with the human--> water linkage is essential.The use of local techniques for retaining walls should be encouraged rather than rcc walls. The essential role of an architect should be to develop confidence in rural communities about their way of life.
Architecture colleges should focus on smaller ( yet important ) issues that big firms and practices tend to neglect. Travelling should be an important part of college life in architecture.

Meraki means doing something with soul creativity and love. Following the legacy of past two years, this year too, team meraki was all geared up to create something new. The tradition is to make each year count, nurture ourselves into better learners and grow together.

This year we have we have tried to explore a new material, "Pine Wood". A canopy, made up of wood,which is retractable, a kinetic structure, which can be simply moved by the human weight.
This was the basic idea behind the design. As the material allowed many people to work on it various seatings came into the frame, complementing the design. From drilling a hole into a plank till it's assembly we learnt to appreciate material's strengths and understood the weaknesses.
This exploration brings us together.

We inaugurated the structure with a small celebration with some faculty members and the team marking the culmination of year long collective efforts and dedication.
