Site Visit : HAHS II : Panch Haud Mission and St. Paul's Church - 26/06/2015

As a part of History of Architecture and Human Settlements (HAHS) subject, II year students visited the St. Paul's Church, Pune to study the Architectural elements used in the ancient times, Interiors, Design elements and Details of the different types of openings and how they are treated.

Site Visit: LAES III - Osho Teerth Park, Pune - 25/06/2015

As a part of  Landscape Architecture and Environmental Science (LAES), III year students visited Osho Teerth Park to learn, explore and understand the landscape principles and elements used. To study use of land, water, vegetation in a landscape space. It was good learning experience for the students.

Site Visit : AD III - Raja Kelkar Museum and Jaykar Library, Pune - 19/06/2015

As a part of Architectural Design (AD) subject, III year students visited the famous Dinkar Raja Kelkar Museum, Shukrawar Peth, Pune to study the context of the Museum and working of the Museum. Later on the same museum was considered for extension as AD project of the first term.

PVPCOA paid a soulful  tribute to the doyen of Indian Atchitecture, 

Padmavibhushan  Ar. Charles Correa. His valuable contribution to the profession was remembered and the students vowed to the principles he fought for.

As a part of Architectural Design (AD) subject, II year students visited a residence of Ar. Kalpana Hadap, Karvenagar, Pune  to understand climatic response in a design of a bungalow. Ar. Kalpana explained various details developed as a response to the climate.

As a part of Architectural Design (AD) subject, II year students visited bungalows/apartments designed by famous Architects to understand the spaces, Design elements and study the details and note their observations. This is an apartment constructed in Steel designed by Ar. Suresh Athwale.
