Arvindbhai Patel Institute of Environmental Design (APIED), Anand, Ahmedabad hosted an Architectural Competition - "URBAN NOMADS" on the theme of "RED SQUARE CALLING".
They had to design a "TRANSPORTABLE SHELTER" for two Individuals (Urban Nomads) of footprint not more than 50 sq.m. (500 sq.ft.) adaptive in Laddakh, Jaisalmer, Goa and Rainforests of South India on Live-Work-Display-Interact concept.
Eminent Jury members were:
Professor Satyaprakash Varanashi, Professor Yatin Pandya, Professor Rajan Rawal and
Professor Thomas Hilberth.
The result was announced on 27th December 2015.
WINNERS:
Shivraj Kanthi, Akash Shingvi, Gaurav Patil, Suchit Mutha and Shubbaam Rathi from
(III year) PVPCOA, Pune.
