PVP College of Architecture, Pune invites FOURTH Year B.Arch students to participate in Asian
Contest for Architectural Rookies – Indian Domestic Contest 2014 (
Presenting their Third Year
architectural design project for Semester 1 or Semester 2 from academic
session 2013-14 ).
A) ELIGIBILITY: 1) Bonified
students of 4th year B.Arch studying in any Architectural Institute
in India recognized by Council of Architecture.
2)
Third Year architectural design project
for Semester 1 or Semester 2 from academic
session 2013 -14 to be
presented. ( 2 Entries per College )
3)
Participant should have a valid PASSPORT
till December 2014.
( Xerox copy of which to be submitted
along with the submission )
B) AWARDS : 1)
Indian Contest – 2 Merit Awards
worth Rs.10,000 each & 3 Merit Awards worth Rs.5000 each. ( It is Juries discretion to award all or part
of the total prizes announced )
2) Top 2 selected students out of these 5 awardees will be
nominated for presenting their work in ACAR 2014 in China on Saturday 25th
Oct 2014.
3)
All the presented sheets & the models to be taken back by the participants
after the Domestic Jury.
4)
Organizers retain the right to publish
the work of winning entries for
academic purpose only.
5)
Travel & other expenses for ACAR China will be reimbursed by the host for
the 2 selected students.
C) JUDGING CRITERIA
: 1) Design will be assessed by Drawings and Model, but more emphasis
will be given
on MODEL.
2) Students will present their work for 5mins
each as per Rookies standard format.

3) For ACAR 2014 in China, MODEL has to fit in Size 900mm
x 900mm x 700mm as per ACAR format
