Presentation and Interactive Session of Ar. Arvind Krishan from New Delhi happened on 24th of Dec. 2011. He talked about Climate Responsive Architecture and idea of Sustainability. He also explained the students about the matrix of climatic factor and climate type, which they have developed.

In this visit students of I Year B. Arch. measured the complete site which they have selected to set up 80 stalls, in a group of eight. Then each one of them finalized and sketched their sites.

Workshop : BD I : 'Padeogogical Foundation for Architecture' by Ar. Punita Mehta, Vadodara - 17/12/2011
Ar. Punita Mehta held a workshop titled ' Pedagogical Foundation for Architecture', for the students and faculty. This workshop was related to the subject called Basic Design. In this presentation she told about how they try to relate all subjects and donot work on any subject in isolated fashion. They try and take forward topic covered in one subject into another. She also told the way they conduct assignments for each topic and what students understand from each assignment.

Site Visit - AD I visit to Empress Garden, Pune - 14/12/2011
I Year B. Arch. students visited Empress Garden for their first AD project of Semester two. Exhibition of Organic Food is about to happen in Feb 2012 at Empress Garden. Based on that an AD project is formulated in which students were to come up with an Individual design of Stalls. In this visit they roughly identified areas for their stalls.
