Visit by Ar. Ranjit Sabikhi, New Delhi

Ar. Ranjit Sabikhi, New Delhi visited the school and went through some of the students academic work. He interacted with all the students regarding the changing urban scenarios in the city and also the environmental issues faced by developing cities. He also talked about the urban villages coming up in the city as result of this development.

A young architect from Bangalore, Ar. Nikhil Joshi visited the school and presented his architectural thesis work and also some of his works related to photography. Students had a great experience learning different photography techniques and also the presentation techniques of a thesis project.

Eminent architect Ar. Kabir Vajpeyi, New Delhi visited the school and conducted a lecture on the ‘Improving construction practices : Connecting with the traditional knowledge’. The lecture was based on brick as a construction material with respect to construction details, character and function as in the traditional architecture. He also expressed a need to revive traditional construction and management practices and apply the knowledge in practice.
